Thierry Baudet is happy that the "disaster cabinet" Rutte IV has fallen. As is pretty much all of the Netherlands, of course. This is, he says in a video, a great opportunity to "take back our country," to really start doing something about it. But, he also says, Dutch people should pay attention now and not fall for Rutte's nonsense stories that after 13 years he suddenly wants to do something about immigration. That is nonsense.
"Are you going to believe Rutte when he says he really wants to do something about immigration now? Of course not. He has left the borders wide open in all the years he has been prime minister of the Netherlands. Hundreds of thousands of people have come to the Netherlands," aldus Baudet.
And that's not the only thing Rutte has been guilty of, the FVD leader explains. "He has saddled us with an absurd climate policy. He saddled us with corona rules, we haven't forgotten that either. And he is now among the biggest war hitters in that senseless war in Ukraine that is not ours."
Therefore, it is now of utmost importance for the Dutch to finally seize our "opportunity. We must all move now and choose to change."
Next, he has good news for all members of the real opposition. FVD "is ready. We are in the starting blocks to campaign."
Now is the time for Dutch people who really want a different policy to enforce it now. New elections are coming up. When is not yet clear, but they will have to come (reasonably) soon. That moment must be seized to bring about change....
