Thierry Baudet looks back on the Rutte years: 'Campaigning on the right, campaigning on the left policies'

"I have always found him an extraordinarily intelligent, educated and also nice man," Baudet said. "And while the prime minister's love life has always been shrouded in mists, I can reveal at this moment that for years we have secretly shared the same great love and shared muggy bills about it in the plenary hall."

Yep, you read that right. Rutte and Baudet share the same love. A great love, even. One they secretly correspond about.

"To wit, classical music."

Ha!

Anyway, so although he has little to say about the person Rutte, Baudet did have something to say about Rutte's politics s policies, and about the way he has fleshed out the premiership.

"About the political choices made, I am and will remain unabatedly critical," Baudet explained. He wanted to say a few words about that today. Not to ridicule, but to ensure that things will be different in the future;

Because, Baudet said, in 2010 Rutte began with fine promises of democratic renewal "in the caretaker cabinet with Wilders of which I was a warm supporter," unfortunately culminated "in a stalled cartel politics in which trust in democratic institutions was severely violated." Again and again.

It all started after Rutte I. With Rutte II, that is. Then Rutte campaigned hard against the PvdA... but still on the evening of the election made a deal with PvdA leader Diederik Samsom to form a coalition together. "It was the beginning of a long list of empty promises and violated election promises. Campaigning on the right, but once in power implementing leftist policies and continuously excluding the only two real opposition parties, namely PVV and FVD."

Help DDS get through these difficult times. Help us make a fist against the mainstream media as well as the party cartel. Fight side-by-side with us. Donate on BackMe and fight side-by-side with DDS against the globalist elites.

And it still wasn't. Multiple referendums were ignored by Rutte, Baudet said. He had a "selective memory" about all important files. He deleted his text messages when it suited him better. Of course, there was also the vaccine discrimination during corona and the ridiculous lockdown.

Finally, Baudet called on Dutch people to choose wisely now. Rutte is calling it quits. It is time for new choices. In doing so, Forum for Democracy is willing to talk to everyone negotiate with everyone. FVD excludes no one. Because FVD stands for democracy.
