The crackpot BNNVARA has called FVD Member of Parliament (he is temporarily back from absence) Pepijn van Houwelingen "conspiracy fanatic" as well as "fascist" in an article. Van Houwelingen rightly finds this completely unacceptable. "This is very clearly libel."
At BNNVARA these days they are even more rancid than they already were. After all, in a recent article on the broadcaster's website (paid for by you and me), Pepijn van Houwelingen is adamantly called "conspiracy fantasist" and - worse - "fascist." At BNNVARA, they apparently think this is perfectly normal.
To The Daily Standard, Van Houwelingen let it be known that he finds the article appalling. "They call me, strikes me again, a 'fascist' MP. That's not the first time. Over six months ago I already filed a report against BNNVARA, although at that time they still called it neo-fascist. The OM and the police do absolutely NOTHING with that, even though this is clearly libel it seems to me."
And that's not the only crazy thing about this. Because although complaints against BNNVARA are ignored by everyone - by the Ombudsman and also by the Public Prosecution Service - Van Houwelingen himself is being prosecuted because he once posted a photoshop on X.
"The cartel is apparently allowed to continually call us fascists, see also Tjeerd de Groot's remark towards an ON journalist a few years ago, without the OM even wanting to do anything. Conversely, we are immediately prosecuted for nothing by that same OM."
Van Houwelingen had posted a photo of Ernst Kuipers with a Nazi flag instead of the SDG flag of the UN and other international organizations that want to transform our way of life, supposedly because of "inclusivity, diversity" and "climate. Such a thing, of course, should just be allowed, but according to the prosecution, it was peaceful. And so Van Houwelingen must answer to a judge.
(Article continues below this call) At DDS we know that BNNVARA is the enemy. And we are sick and tired of all those hypocrites in the media as well as in the police and the prosecution. Do you feel the same way? Support us! Donate to DDS via BackMe and help us expose the hypocrisy of the cartelians every day.
But when BNNVARA literally calls him a fascist, they are apparently totally fine with that at the OM. Van Houwelingen has zero freedom of speech, his opponents are allowed to say whatever they want - no matter how untruthful it is.
Of course, that's not the only problem. Because these kinds of disgusting texts appear on a website, JOOP, which is on the domain of BNNVARA and thus of the NPO. It is a website paid for by the taxpayer. How on earth can the Lower House allow this to happen? That there is no one in parliament who says, "Hey, you know, maybe this should not be from taxpayers' money?"
