See, ladies and gentlemen, a new chapter in the Big Book of Dutch Politics has opened. Today we welcome with open arms the relatively fresh group chairman of the ChristenUnie (Christian Union), Mirjam Bikker. For she has something very important to say. Yes, it is even so important that the dictionary might define "Bikker" as "a person who has very, very important things to say."
She has just entered the arena as leader of her party and has already made it clear that the Christian Union will not bend like a reed in the political wind. Yep, the Christian Union is not the type of party that just blows with the zeitgeist. Except, of course, if that wind happens to blow away the stench of the Surcharge Affair. But that aside, we're not talking about that now.
Bikker has a message, which she believes with all her Christian heart: the party will not give in to criticism of the administration's immigration policy. She does not want any stricter action. Citizens should just accept that their cities and towns are being changed beyond recognition by the massive influx of opportunity pearls from, especially, the Middle East. She has decided that this is her hill to die on, because, you know, she apparently can't find any other problems about which she should rise.
And the irony? Well, let me think for a moment. Perhaps the Christian values and principles she so valiantly defends. The same values and principles that mysteriously retreated into the background during the Surcharge Affair. Because let's face it, it's easier for an ultra-leftist politician to fight criticism of the invasion of burqas than to do justice to the victims of institutional failure.
Help DDS through these difficult times. Help us make a fist against the mainstream media as well as the party cartel. Fight side-by-side with us. Donate on BackMe and fight side-by-side with DDS against the globalist superconservatives.
But let's not be too hard on Miriam Bikker. After all, she has a big task ahead of her: building her own credibility while protecting Christian values and principles. It is clearly a heavy burden to carry. We wish her the best of luck and eagerly await her next speech. Because who knows what "big news" she will have to announce then? Let's hope it is as meaningful as this latest revelation.
