In a joint operation, Dutch and German authorities Thursday dismantled a terror network suspected of preparing attacks. In the Netherlands, a man (29) from Tajikistan and a woman(31) from Kyrgyzstan were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the network.The man is also suspected of membership in IS. The Dutch intelligence service,the AIVD, received information about the couple and subsequently notified the police and the Public Prosecution Service.
Although the concrete plans for an attack were not yet fully worked out, the clues were sufficient to take action, the prosecution stated. The man was arrested in Eindhoven, while the woman was arrested in Breda. It is not known whether they also lived there. Both will be arraigned Friday in Rotterdam.
