The EU fails once again grandiosely! More than one million asylum seekers by 2023 - the highest number since the Syrian crisis in 2015. This is no fluke, but a direct result of the European Union's failing, weak and naive migration policy. The EU appears to learn nothing from the ''Wir schaffen das" debacle. Instead of strengthening the borders, Brussels keeps throwing bags full of money around in the hope that the problem will solve itself, writes the Telegraph. It's a joke! The promises of strengthened external borders and reduced asylum inflows are proving to be nothing more than empty words. It's time for an asylum freeze!
And where does the Netherlands stand in all this? In a shameful 10th place in the EU in terms of number of asylum requests per capita. We have become the drain of Europe, with our government uncritically letting in every migrant who knocks at our door. While countries like Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic at least have the backbone to say, "up to here and no further," the Netherlands remains an easy target for any fortune hunter.
This massive influx of asylum seekers puts immense pressure on our society. Our social security, our infrastructure, our culture - everything is coming under pressure. And all because our leaders are too afraid to stand up for our own people. The EU, with the Netherlands in its wake, is charting a course that leads directly to the demise of our national identity and sovereignty.

It is time for a radical reversal. The Netherlands must take back control of its own borders. We must stop blindly following the EU in their utopian migration dream. If the EU is unable to guarantee our security and social cohesion, then we must have the courage to steer our own course. It is time for the Netherlands to regain control of its own home. If that means reconsidering our position within the EU, so be it. The safety and well-being of our own citizens should be our top priority, not pleasing Brussels. No opt-out for the Netherlands on asylum then it's time for a Nexit. Enough is enough!
