Oh, what a surprise! Our favorite climate princess, Greta Thunberg, has once again flouted the rules. This time she ignored a police order during a protest in Malmö. But don't worry, she had a good reason - according to her, that is. She claimed she was not guilty because, given the climate crisis, it was necessary to disobey the officer. Of course, Greta, we understand. The rules don't apply to you.
On June 19, she and other protesters blocked a road for tankers near the port of Malmö. She was ordered to clear the road, but did not. Why should she? After all, she is Greta Thunberg, the untouchable climate activist.
And this is not the first time she has ignored a police order. Earlier this year, she was briefly detained at a demonstration near the German town of Lützerath. She was standing with a group of 60 to 70 protesters on the edge of the Garzweiler opencast mine, something forbidden by the police. When officers asked her to leave for her own safety and she did not comply, she was allegedly carried off. But she was not arrested. Of course not, she is, after all, Greta Thunberg.
(Article continues below this call) In these times, it is more important than ever that there are media outlets that stand up to the climate propaganda of Greta and her friends. The Daily Standard does just that! Every single day! We show readers how hypocritical climate geeks are.... But we can only do that with your support. Donate now to DDS, via BackMe, and help us fight Climate Geeks.
So, what is the price for her latest act of rebellion? A fine of 130 euros. A pittance for someone like Greta, but a clear signal that even she is not above the law. But rest assured, I have no doubt that she will see this fine as a badge of honor, proof of her dedication to the cause. And we mere mortals can only watch and wonder: what will Greta Thunberg do next time to break the rules?
